The Townhouse Kemptown

The Townhouse is the latest edition to the Kemptown village, offering contemporary yet unpretentious British food. Located in the heart of Kemptown, off the New Steine gardens; this new and independent restaurant is the latest hub to open in Brighton’s original shopping area.

The Townhouse is discovering itself as a home for all, with a dining area, lounge bar and even a piano room where you can sit around the Baby Grand Piano on bar stools while drinking!

But what would a great venue be without the food to compliment? That’s where the Head Chef comes in! All the way from The Dorchester Hotel in London (who in his modesty wishes to remain anonymous), he brings all his London prestige to create a menu that fits the Brighton way. From hand made goat’s cheese tart to a fillet of John Dory with Cromer crab! But we’re not the type to be pretentious, we enjoy an evening out as much as you, so our food and menu is made with all in mind, there’s the “Shameless Carnivore” section, give us pork belly, rack of lamb and Fillet steak! Or the starters “Tickle my Palate” you’ll get Venison Carpaccio and Lobster Terrine.
